Pontoise - The site of the former castle

A climb up the hill to the site of the former castle will certainly be rewarded. Although the castle has been demolished quite a while back, there are a few attractions up here that make the hike worthwhile.

For all those into the arts, the charming Musée Pissaro opens its doors in the afternoons; from the surrounding park you get excellent views of the Oise valley and the town of Pontoise and the garden of the five senses is the ideal place for a little break from sightseeing.
