Seven Sights in Paris - The Louvre

Back to the mainstream sights: the Louvre. Its location in the heart of the city makes it almost impossible to miss this grand museum. Of course our first association is the Mona Lisa but there is a great variety of amazing things to be discovered in the many Galleries. On certain days the entry is free so check in advance. In any case, it is advisable to buy tickets in advance to avoid queues and bring some time to appreciate the museum.

Those who prefer the “outdoors” can admire the building from the outside while taking a stroll through the Jardin des Tuileries or along the Seine.

How to get there from Pontoise: take the train from Pontoise to Gare St Lazare, metro 12 to Concorde.
